May 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8, 15 Jana Teach Party Dance Series	Top Party Dance Series: Jana will devote a series of 6 lessons to teaching popular party dances, so you'll be able to join the line and join in the fun on the dance floor. And, there are two live dance parties at the Russian Community Center that coincide with this series, so you'll have two concurrent opportunities to use the dances you learn. The live dance parties will be on May 25th, and June 15th. See entries below for details. The full 6-week series, including the parties if $85 dollars. For folks who want to purchase the lesson series but do not wish to attend the parties, the cost is $66 - and though it doesn't include the dance parties, folks are welcome to dance all evening to recorded music on the other four nights. Individual lessons are $12, which includes the full evening of social dance (and on the two nights of the dance parties, we suggest a donation of $10 for students who wish to stay for the party after the lesson.) Folks, age 14-20 are half price, and children, 13 and under are free. Lessons are from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, with recorded music OR live music going on untill 11 pm or later. Have a look at the flyer! May 25th Vassil & Maria Bebelekov	Top Vassil and Maria Bebelekov: We're very excited to have these wonderful musicians back to help us bring in our big FolkLife weekend. Tonight begins from 7:30-8:30 pm when Jana teaches a 'Party Dances' lesson. Later, Vassil and Maria will give us an opportunity to show off what we've learned at about 9 pm. The cost for this evening's lesson and party is $20 for adults (included in the price for those taking Jana's series), and suggested donation for folks coming after the lesson is $15 for adults, $8 for students 14-20, and free for folks 13 and under. June 15 Orkestar RTW	Top Orkestar RTW: We finally get to have one of our favorite local bands back tonight to play all evening at the Russian Community Center! Jana is teaching a lesson tonight from 7:30 - 8:30 pm., (one of the Party Dances lessons!) so music starts a little later, at about 9 pm, after a short sound check. The cost is $15 for folks attending Jana's lesson and the party (and folks who purchased the lesson series get this live music party in the package.) For folks coming after the lesson, we recommend a donation of $12 for adults, $6 for students age 14-20, and free as usual for folks age 13 and under. Fridays when there is no live music:	Top The Russian Community Center is located at 704 19th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112 MAP Join us for social dancing from 8:30 to11:00 for primarily Balkan dancing which are typically non-partner dances from countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, and Albania. An occasional dance from other countries may be played as well. The early part of the evening will have mostly easy and basic dances that everyone can participate in regardless of prior experience. Please request dances that you like from the over 2000 tunes we have available. The suggested donation is $5 per night. If you can pay more please help by doing so. Here is a flyer with a map for you and your friends! There will usually be dance instruction from 7:30 to 8:30, which may have an additional charge. There will not be dance instruction when there is a band and for some special events. Please check here often or subscribe to the weekly informational emails.
